Since the author did not interview one member who actually lived through its she is just parroting the FBI account. They are an extremely trustworthy organization and I am so glad to read an accounting based upon the typical government version. These are the same officals who provided a fairy tale account of 9/11, Kennedy's shooting, the Vietnam War and every other war our deluded government decides to engage in to sacrifrice young healthy men.
I prefer the other/ real version,they set up a community to escape the tyrannical government,there is no proof of sexual exploitation, and illegal guns? The fbi murdered those people,they deliberately incinerated the compound,and blew the roof of a bunker inside killing the children in it. Dividians. That was an excuse made up by the ATF and the FBI to cover up their unwarranted attack and murder of the Branch Dividians. While the ATF and FBI were guarding the outside of the compound people actually went up to the door of the compound, knocked, entered, visited with David getting his side of the story and safely left. The ATF and FBI was furious because it showed there was truly nothing evil or sinister about the Dividians. A truly tragic and disgusting coverup by the government. Only problem is - there is no one the ATF and FBI are accountable to. They can do what they want and get away with it every time. This event and many others since then have proved their unaccountability. Government sponsored murder. They tried to use the excuse that they were fired upon by the Dividians. But they forgot to tell you that they were trying to illegally break into the Dividian complex at the time they were shot! They didn’t even try to announce themselves like civilized humans. Had they knocked on the door they would have been let right in.
So many events in the history we've been fed are often not true and more often than not are the opposite of what is taken as history. These people, nursing mothers and children included were shot via a helicopter through the roof. If it is true that David was a madman or a cult leader, why kill the innocent? Why shoot through the roof of a building where mothers are nusring their babies? That's insanity IMO they would have needed rescuing not shooting and burning, always burning or destorying the eivdenxce these 3 letter agencies are...
While David may have been three quarters of a bubble off center, there is no law against that. The Dividians may have been a “cult” but again, there is also no law against that. No, the powers in charge, plain and simple, committed cold blooded murder. And the American people stood quietly by and while they may not have “let” it happen, they said nothing in the aftermath. These type of events make it embarrassing for me to call myself a “responsible citizen.”
We should say “NO” to the fact that most people just stand back and watch and do not speak up against tyranny. By NOT saying no, we acquiesce to their actions. This makes us just as responsible through inaction. When we see government corruption we MUST speak out against it, loudly, clearly and often. Otherwise, Uncle Sugar will take that as acceptance and advance their agenda more and more quickly. SPEAK UP AGAINST ALL FORMS OF INJUSTICE FOLKS!

Agreed. Don’t forget they (the FBlie) stole all those “illegal weapons” and prob sold them to street thugs or drug cartels.
I remember watching this as it happened that day. My daughter was 2 months old. It was such a bizarre thing to see.
