Who Killed Lindsay Buziak? The Unsolved Murder of a Young Realtor in British Columbia
In February, 2008, a young realtor named Lindsay Buziak met an unknown couple to who were supposedly interested in purchasing a house in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. By all indications this should have been a routine affair, no different than the hundreds of other showings Lindsay had conducted during her career.
But there was nothing routine about this appointment. After she drove out to the house her family, friends and co-workers never saw Lindsay alive again, and it is believed that she was probably killed almost immediately after arriving at her destination.
Strangely, given that this murder was allegedly committed in a residential area in broad daylight, that is about as much as we know. Lindsay Buziak’s phone activity suggests that the entire crime was committed within just three minutes of her arrival at the house. Who killed her, and why she was killed in such an organized and professional manner, remains mysterious.
But there is some evidence out there, and a picture of the events that day can be pieced together. The story that emerges is one of a carefully laid trap, with the murderers luring Lindsay Buziak to the house where her young life would be so ruthlessly snuffed out.
