What strikes me most is the detail about someone staying on the farm after the murders, feeding livestock and making food. That level of methodical behavior suggests either extreme calulation or a bizarre psychological disconnect. I never came across the incest angle before reading this, whichcompletely reframes potential motives beyond simple robbery or revenge. The fact that a 2007 investigation reached a theory but kept it secret feels almost more frustrating than having no leads at all.
